Victoria Gardens San Diego and San Diego Sustainable Living Institute are teaming up to offer a hands-on Forest Garden workshop at local San Diego nonprofit Second Chance. Attendees will learn the history and basic concepts of Forest Gardening and build one during the course. This technique mimics a woodland ecosystem but is made up of edible trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. The workshop takes place over 5 sessions and costs $100 (financial aid available; no one will be turned away for lack of cash.) To sign up, please email office@victoriagardenssandiego.com. This program is open to community member and the Second Chance JOLT youth.
