MUST HEAR
Mercedes Moore Band
Blessed with a winning combination of a terrific voice and commanding stage presence, Mercedes Moore has taken the local blues and jazz scene by storm over the last two years.
Appearing at The Marine Room on Oct. 12, Moore’s music on this night is a bit more sedate than her full-band club dates, but her voice is no less powerful, her song choices no less impressive. Anyone looking for a wonderful soundtrack to accompany first-class dining needs look no further than the perfect pairing of Mercedes Moore and The Marine Room.
The Mercedes Moore Band: Friday, Oct. 12, Marine Room, 2000 Spindrift Drive. 7 p.m., www.marineroom.com
