Point Loma's Pointers open CIF football playoffs Thursday, Nov. 10, against El Camino High School. The game is being played that night because Veterans Day falls on Friday and is a school holiday.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Clairemont High School. This is a Pointer home game, but because CIF requires all games to be played at 7 p.m., the game was changed to this neutral field.

The Pointers (4-6) received the No. 7 seed in Div. I, while El Camino (3-7) received the No. 10 seed. The winner of this game plays No. 2 seed St. Augustine on Nov. 18.

The Pointers opened their season at El Camino in Oceanside where the Wildcats won 21-8.
