Kids invited to get active and healthy— On Saturday, April 27, the La Jolla YMCA is celebrating YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day® with a free community event that encourages kids and their families to get moving and learning for a healthier lifestyle. The national initiative to improve families’ health and well-being takes place at 1,900 Ys and kickstarts healthier behaviors now and throughout the summer, a critical out-of-school time for children’s health.
The La Jolla YMCA Healthy Kids Day takes place at 8355 Cliffridge Ave. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and features educational activities like family yoga, jump house, edible art, sports games, gymnastic activities and more.
