There is only one original member left in the ska band The Untouchables. But in this case, that’s enough. The key to a successful 30-plus-year run will be clearly evident during the band’s show at The Griffin on Friday, May 25. They’re a great live band. While the supporting cast has changed since in early 1980s heyday, original frontman Jerry Herman is still center stage, keeping rein over the group’s up-tempo tunes. Expect the biggest cheers for hits like “Free Yourself,” but they have plenty of worthy newer tunes.
