HERE’S A PHOTO HOWARD ROZELLE took in 1943 from the front porch of the Rozelle home at 1275 Chalcedony St., looking north on Fanuel Street. A Mrs. Conkling’s Bakery driver pulls out his wares while Howard’s brother-in-law, who was home on leave from the Army at the time, pretends to stop traffic. Howard’s wife, Florence, may be cautioning him not to take a picture. I’m glad he did.
