Richard Lenyk takes his Beacon to Molino Viejo (The Old Mill) in San Quintin, Baja California Norte. 200 miles below the border on the Pacific side of Baja. The hotel and restaurant are three miles down a graded dirt road off Mexico 1 and situated on the edge of San Quintin Bay. This bay is mostly undeveloped and is what San Diego bay most likely looked like 150 years ago. In the late 1800’s an English company built a wheat mill here but after a couple of years of drought it failed. Some of the equipment and buildings are still around to see.
