The Young at Art Children’s Creative Center in Ocean Beach sponsored the painting of a fence at Point Loma Gas at the foot of Point Loma Avenue and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard recently. The free community event was open to children and adults to help paint a mural titled “The Fantasy Seascape.” The nonprofit center was founded and directed by Kim Howell, an OB resident and professional artist. The center is committed to providing a nurturing and positive environment where children can express themselves freely while engaging in the arts. For more information, visit youngatartsandiego.org.
