A bonus, of course, is the spectacular views extending from Mission Bay to downtown San Diego.

The summer event is sponsored by the Concerts Committee and the Pacific Beach Community Foundation.
The 2014 season kicks off Sunday, July 20 at 4 p.m. and features The Jackstones performing Americana, alternative country and classic rock ’n’ roll.
Then, on July 27, get ready for features Three Chord Justice, a premier country band, winner of the 2010 KSON Big Country Showdown.
Following that, on Aug. 3, the Siers Bros. are set to take the stage, performing sounds of the Allman Brothers, The Beatles, The Texas Tornados and their own original material.
Finally, on Aug. 10, Theo and The Zydeco Patrol will perform. This is not just another blues band, according to event organizers.
