SAN DIEGO, MARCH 30, 2015 – Real estate powerhouse and Realtor Carlos Gutierrez, who has made a name for himself throughout San Diego County for his marketing, has moved to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, affiliating with its La Jolla office. He comes to the brokerage from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, where he earned the Chairman’s Circle Platinum award for his sales performance, ranked in the top 1 percent of the brokerage’s national network of agents, and ranked no. 1 in individual transactions and volume in 2014 for the north coastal San Diego market.

“We are ecstatic to have Carlos join Coldwell Banker. It is an honor and the highest compliment that he has chosen to bring his very successful, established real estate career to our La Jolla Office where our local and global brand can service all his clients from luxury to investments,” said Jamie Duran, President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage San Diego and Orange County Companies.

Gutierrez has created a vast real estate marketing network that includes MontezumaProperties.com, social network engagement strategies, viral video marketing, newsletters, various print media, and exposure in the print, radio and TV news media.

A native of San Diego, Gutierrez first became famous for his role as the San Diego State University mascot, Monty Montezuma, which he played for more than 13 years. He continues to support the local community and charitable organizations and lives by the motto “Never look down on someone unless you are reaching down to help them up.”
