Massage Envy on Girard Avenue hosts a toy drive with The Salvation Army

Massage Envy San Diego, in partnership with The Salvation Army, will be helping struggling San Diego families this holiday season by hosting a toy drive in each of their Massage Envy locations throughout San Diego County through Dec. 16.

Lauren Baldwin, Massage Envy La Jolla Franchisee, is thrilled to be involved with the effort.

“Massage Envy is a very community minded organization. The holidays are a great time to really get everyone involved. The Salvation Army is near and dear to several of the franchisees having personal experiences and we all felt they would be a perfect fit,” said Baldwin. “We are hoping that the kids will feel joy and love during the holidays, as every child should feel. The look on their faces is just priceless.”

Last year alone, The Salvation Army provided 48,500 toys (in addition to stocking stuffers) for 19,000 local children. The Salvation Army’s goal for 2016 is to provide 50,000 toys to 20,000 children countywide. To help volunteer or donate go to or or call 866-613-ENVY (3689).
