A group of people had congregated at Robb Field Park about 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 17. A verbal argument started between two males. The argument turned physical.

A Hispanic male suspect stabbed a 20 year old male victim in the abdomen. The victim sustained a laceration to his abdomen, which was approximately 6 inches long.

The suspect jumped in the back seat of a black Honda Civic driven by a male in his 20s and they fled out of the parking lot. They went an unknown direction from there.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. About an hour later Adrian Castillo (18 years old) turned himself into the police for the stabbing and is in custody. San Diego Police Western Division Detectives are investigating.
