Pigment retail shop boasting design-savvy gifts, flora and furniture has a new 5,000-square-foot boutique in the former Naval Station’s Arts District at 2885 Perry Road.
A retail shop for men and women, Pigment, which first opened in North Park in 2007, will carry a variety of locally made artisanal products.
Transforming Liberty Station’s historic Building 11, a former Naval post office and quartermaster’s store, Pigment’s new outpost serves as both an experiential concept and as a haven for product launches, community events and family-centric meet-ups.
Shoppers can explore a more comprehensive selection of plants and growing accouterments from Pigment’s indoor/outdoor plant lab and DIY terrarium bar. A wrap-around patio deck with picnic tables doubles as a private event space, and Pigment will also rollover its crowd-favorite Toddler Time series, where families are invited to sit in on story time and sing-along activities.
There are also several new establishments joining Liberty Public Market, a trailblazer in San Diego’s growing food hall craze.
Liberty Public Market’s owner and operator, David Spatafore of Blue Bridge Hospitality, welcomes the following tenants:

The Pig's Gig - Bona Fide BBQ from Liberty Market mainstay Mastiff Sausage Co. has a new barbeque outpost spotlighting in-house smoked meats, veggies and an array of harmonizing house made sauces.
RakiRaki Ramen will be relocated to larger digs within Mess Hall, serving up ceramic bowls of signature noodles alongside new menu items like chicken and beef karaage rice bowls and fresh gyoza.
