Fanny Krasner Lebovits was 19 when Nazis invaded her home in Liepaja, Latvia, killing her father and most of the Jewish men in the town. She went on to lose 79 family members and survived both the Libau ghetto and five different concentration camps. Her memoir shares her inspirational story of loss, resilience, and survival and the joys and challenges she faced as she rebuilt her life and family on three continents.

Lebovits, author of "Memories, Miracles and Meaning: Insights of a Holocaust Survivor," will have an authors’ discussion, Q&A and book signing on Saturday, March 23, 11 a.m. to 1p.m. at Barnes & Noble, Loma Theater, 3150 Rosecrans Place.
