Truluck’s invites La Jolla area diners for a Thanksgiving Feast

This Thanksgiving, Truluck’s invites guests to feast with a special, three-course menu inspired by indulgent, Southern-style cuisine, as well as an intimate, upscale dining experience for an unforgettable holiday celebration with friends and loved ones.

A notably refined dining experience centered around the ocean’s finest seafood and crab, and an exquisite wine selection, Truluck’s La Jolla offers delectable Thanksgiving meal offerings for the whole family. Diners are invited to savor the restaurant’s plentiful menu, including always-fresh Florida Stone Crab and other seafood delicacies, or opt for a one-night-only, three-course Thanksgiving menu featuring traditional, comforting dishes with a Southern twist.

The menu, priced at $45 for adults and $19 for young adults, ages 12 and younger, features:

First Course, choice of:

  • Lobster Bisque (lobster morsels, horseradish goat cheese)
  • Caesar Salad (white anchovies, shaved pecorino, fresh lemon)
  • Sonoma Greens Salad (spicy pecans, local goat cheese, apples, 
  • Kalamata olives, honey vinaigrette)

Second Course:Herb Roasted Turkey Breast (served with parmesan mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, giblet gravy, and cranberry apple compote)

Choice of two family-style sides per table:

  • Creamed Spinach, Steamed Asparagus, 
  • Green Beans Amandine, Macaroni and Cheese

Third Course, choice of: 

  • Classic Pumpkin Pie (a la mode)
  • Southern Pecan Pie (with eggnog whipped cream)

Newly offered this year, guests can order Thanksgiving meal ‘Seconds!’ to-go, which includes an additional serving of Truluck’s herb roasted turkey, gravy, cornbread stuffing and parmesan mashed potatoes to enjoy at home.

For the perfect mealtime pairing, Truluck’s wine list, recognized by Wine Spectator Magazine’s Award of Excellence, offers more than 70 exceptional varietals available by the glass and bottle or hand-crafted libations using only premium spirits mixed with fresh fruit and hand-squeezed citrus juice. Guests can also select from a variety of ‘Perfect Pairings’ featured on the holiday menu for a delightful, sommelier-approved Thanksgiving wine.

For those seeking a seasonal cocktail offering, Truluck’s will serve its popular Holiday Nog made with Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Bourbon Cream complete with Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Star Anise for a flavorful and festive flare.
