Two weeks ago I lost a beloved pet. As I've anxiously searched for Lulu, my small white cat, I want to remind readers of what to do if they find a pet.
Please call the Humane Society located on Gaines Street to report finding a pet, or take the pet to the Humane Society. Pet owners search the shelter on a daily basis. Please put a "found" ad in the local papers, as well as searching the lost ads.
If you find a cute and friendly pet, it is not finders keepers. That pet is someone's beloved family member.
This summer my only child died; Lulu was his cat. Please see my display ad in the paper if you can help.
